Veggie Burgers

Maria Helena and Marli are natural vegetarian cooks who use only organically grown produce. They are members of The Seventh Day Adventist Church. Maria Helena and Marli have been living the vegetarian lifestyle with their families for nearly 20 years.

In this article, Maria Helena and Marli bring us another one of their mouth watering vegetarian recipes!

 

 

This time it's: Veggie Burgers

1 Cup of Oat Meal (Ground in food processor for consistence)

2 Cups of Brown Rice, cooked, (ground in food processor for consistence) (warm rice)

2 Cups of Textured Soy Protein Prepared With: Fresh Onion, Fresh Garlic, Fresh Cilantro, Dry Oregano, Dry Basil,  & Salt to taste

1 Red Pepper, cut in small pieces

1 Yellow Pepper, cut in small pieces

1 Orange Pepper, cut into small pieces

2 Cups of Celery, cut in food processor, small pieces

Saute about 4 cups of Shitake Mushrooms in 6 or 7 Cloves of Garlic, Fresh Cilantro, & Onion.

Mix all the ingredients together, form into burgers.

Bake for 40 minutes (One Side) and 5-7 minutes (Other Side) at 350 degrees.
