This unique mystical journey will follow the sequence of the chakras. We will meet in New Delhi for our orientation. Then the journey begins with the first chakra in Varanasi (tribal traditions and rituals); the second chakra (relationships) in Khajuraho where the kama sutra temples celebrate sex and spirituality; the third and fourth chakra at the Taj Mahal in Agra (heart); followed by the fifth and sixth chakra in Mathura and Vrindavan, the birthplace of Krishna, and Jaipur; and the seventh chakra (intuition and our connection to our spiritual nature) in the Ajanta-Ellora Caves in Aurangabad.
As we journey through India, these places will help us to connect with the seven power centers in our body and we would allow ourselves to become available to the extraordinary dimensions that we each contain for a larger life – in body, mind and spirit.
The spirit of each of these chakra archetypes will be brought alive through rituals and traditions that have been practiced throughout ancient India to present time by Indians, rituals that help evoke the reality of these archetypal myths.
We will also be visiting Dharamsala for the annual spring teaching of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
