Creating Paradise From Wastelands: LAFARGE Eco Systems
Lafarge Eco Systems seek to not only to repair the land, but also to improve it, make it better than it was before quarrying begun. The result is more than just a green space, it is a living laboratory that is rich with diversity and shows us much about the way ecosystems function. They are reservoirs of endangered species in a region where biodiversity is shrinking quickly. They are open classrooms, inspiring young and old alike to take an interest in nature and the value of the environment. And they are paradise for the hundreds of thousands of visitors seeking refuge from the chaos of a post-industrial world.

Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth': A Life Altering Film

"The vast majority of scientists agree that global warming is real, it’s already happening and that it is the result of our activities and not a natural occurrence. The evidence is overwhelming and undeniable. We’re already seeing changes. Glaciers are melting, plants and animals are being forced from their habitat, and the number of severe storms and droughts is increasing." Al Gore, An Inconvenient Truth

Hurricanes' Effects on Wildlife
What we experience as human beings is being experienced by a vast number of lifeforms, most of which *do not* have a voice. Their extinction, their loss, will echo through us to those darkest corners of Mother Earth, and we will *all* feel it. We rely on them as much as they rely on us to survive on this planet.  Without them, we wouldn't have much of a planet, just a barren, smokey rock orbiting the sun. We must work together against global warming. We have no other choice- lest we wish to have our future washed away with category 5 hurricane.

On Water Alone

Denny Klein has found a way to power his car on water.  This new technology, that he originally created for welding, is now the future for fueling cars and other pollutant machines. "It's called "Aquagen."  A Florida company is currently testing the new gas, which they make from mixing water and electricity.  The process of mixing water with electricity is called electrolysis...The machine runs voltage throughout the water, creating gas.  The gas is cooled in another compartment, then dried. Once it's dried, you have a gas that is ready to burn. "

"I'm Melting!" -Earth

“…the electronic dissemination of information and sense of purpose shared online are key to the call-up and formation of battle strategems for the massing armies of earth eco-warriors…some offer a philosophy for living; others are more  like manuals of planet-friendly existence.” (Vanity Fair) These sites offer everything from everyday appliances turned eco-friendly to lobbying government officials and pressuring them to take decisive action in Washington.
