This Month’s Recommended Merlian News Articles:
Recently, I was shocked to read an article by Dr. Mercola stating that the Federal Trade Commission was cracking down on this well-respected form of natural medicine… Several years ago I was feeling unwell, and couldn’t pinpoint the source. I was chronically tired, unable to sleep through the night, had poor digestion, and finally broke out with eczema on my face and neck. Nothing I did seemed to help. Then a dear friend of mine recommended I see George Vithoulkas, the renowned homeopathist who treated Krishnamurti. I knew that homeopathy treated health issues by using minute amounts of ingredients similar to what caused the problem – what practitioners call treating “like with like.”

Meet Anna Breytenbach: Animal Communicator
Anna Breytenbach has dedicated her life to what she calls interspecies communication. The South African native is an animal activist, conservationist, and public speaker – but, most incredibly, she “talks to the animals” (video). She received advanced training through the Assisi International Animal Institute in California, USA and has been practicing for 15 years in South Africa, Europe and the USA with domestic and wild animals. Anna’s goal is to raise awareness and advance the relationships among humans and other species, on both the personal and spiritual levels.
Q&A with Elisabet Sahtouris, Evolution Biologist & Futurist
We recently read about the upcoming Dreaming the Future Conference in Barcelona, June 23-25, and were delighted to see that Elisabet Sahtouris will be one of the presenters, explaining how Nature can be our guide to the destination of a peaceful and prosperous future. We took this as an opportunity to ask Elisabet Sahtouris to tell us about her life and her work, and the answers are just fascinating!
The story of Wilhelm Reich offers both an inspiring lesson—and an instructive warning—for those who seek a deeper understanding of our world and, even more so, for those who would change the status quo. Conflict was prominent in Reich’s life, as was great courage. In the 1920s, he came into conflict with Freud in his inner circle. In the 1930s, as a political and social activist fighting for human freedom, he battled both Hitler and Stalin, each of whom put Reich on their death lists. In the 1940s, Reich was an early critic of the domination of American medicine by the pharmaceutical industry.
Jude Currivan has written several books and has been a long-time friend of Merlian News. We loved her latest book, The Cosmic Hologram, and its empowering message about reality and our roles as co-creators. So we jumped at the chance to ask Jude how she came to write it, and why its message is so relevant for us today. Jude will be at the Church of the United Nations in NY on May 9th, and at the upcoming Dreaming the Future Conference in Barcelona, June 23-25.
