“Watkins Books is London’s oldest esoteric bookshop specializing in esotericism, mysticism, occultism, oriental religion and contemporary spirituality.”
I had spent many hours and many days enjoying the atmosphere in Watkins Books when I lived in London.
The new website offers a “Spiritual Map” of London, that anyone can contribute to. In that spirit, I would like to add to my sort of “Spiritual Map” of what the internet has to offer.
Global Spirit on LinkTV.org is an wonderful website offering a myriad of free and inspirational video interviews. Here is brief summary of the program:
“Global Spirit is a unique “internal travel series,” bringing to light the various practices — spiritual, mental and physical — that help us define who we are as human beings and explore how this affects our relationships to our families, our communities, ourselves and the world at large.
Global Spirit examines the relationships between mind and spirit, science and metaphysics, and mental and physical well-being as approached by the world’s ancient wisdom traditions and modern science. Through this series, we aim to foster a global spirit of acceptance and mutual understanding and encourage viewer’s “internal journey” towards personal and social transformation.www.globalspirit.tv”
At the end of this article you will find all the links from MerlianNews to relevant articles on Global Spirit.
Also, Megan McFeely, one of the wonderful souls behind the Global Spirit project, has done a very interesting podcast with Sandra Ingerman. They discuss many topics, one of which being what “we can do to champion what is coming alive in us and around us and how our joy and following our hearts can guide us beyond ego desires to contribute to the health of the whole”. You can also find that link listed below.
