Merryn’s Musings
I had a startling vision a couple of decades ago that led me to research Sacred Geometry. When I did, I was astonished to find that the beautiful symbols I saw in my vision have been known about and studied for thousands of years. From the Ancient Chinese geomancers to Plato, from the Egyptians and the Hindus, through to the modern work of Nassim Harimein (video), the same powerful geometric shapes recur over and over again.

Tell Me a Story: Stirring Up Cellular Memories with Meditation
I have been meditating for over fifteen years now and find it an essential part of my life. Many have written about the substantial physical and emotional benefits, and while I’ve certainly found that to be the case, too, I’ve also noticed that there is a component of releasing “cellular memories” that is rarely addressed. People shy away from phenomena that are not so easily explained, but whether you call it “cellular memories,” “past lives,” or releasing “old patterns,” I have found that there is something extraordinary happening that also brings welcome relief to the body and the spirit.

Using Saffron to Boost or Restore Eye Health
Saffron, the world’s most expensive spice, has long been highly regarded for its distinctive golden color and subtle flavor. But did you know that it is also considered a potent healing agent? Ayurveda teaches that saffron has both invigorating and nourishing qualities and beneficial medicinal actions on the blood, the heart and the reproductive system. Now, western medicine has determined that it may be a key player in maintaining or restoring good vision. This becomes critically important as we face both an aging population and increased incidents of eye strain from overuse of electronic devices over all segments of society.

The Story You Need to Tell by Sandra Marinella
Sandra writes, “We all have a story. Sometimes it is the story of being knocked to the ground – perhaps because of a cancer diagnosis or the death of a loved one. And if we aren’t careful a story like this can get buried within us. We can deny it ever happened and this might lead to physical or psychological problems. Let’s explore how we can find and begin to navigate a story we need to tell.”

Boost Your Immune System with the “King of Mushrooms”
Agaricus is often praised as the “Mushroom of God” or “The King of Mushrooms” due to its health supporting benefits. Wildly popular for years in South America and Japan, the rest of the world is now catching on to this amazing mushroom that supports the immune system, cellular health, and blood sugar levels. Dr. Andrew Weil notes, “Agaricus blazei contains beta glucans, a group of polysaccharides (complex sugars) that are believed to be the compounds responsible for the mushroom’s immune-boosting effects. In addition, research has shown that Agaricus blazei has anti-tumor and anti-viral activity, as well as moderating effects on blood sugar and cholesterol.”

The Great American Total Eclipse: August 21, 2017
August 21 will mark a rare event for North America: a total solar eclipse. This celestial event, billed as the “Great American Total Solar Eclipse,” will be visible from most of the continent. The longest period when the moon completely blocks the sun from any given location along the path will be about two minutes and 40 seconds. The last time the contiguous U.S. saw a total eclipse was in 1979.
