Meditation, Mystical Experiences & Brain Mapping

I am a huge fan of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s books, CDs and DVDs . First featured on the documentary, What the Bleep Do We Know? this leading neuroscientist and lecturer has written such best sellers as Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One. His latest book, Becoming Supernatural, builds on his previous work.

Recently, I was delighted to come across a wonderful new outlet for Dr. Dispenza’s work: www.quantumworld.tv. On there I found videos and courses featuring Joe Dispenza, Dr. Jeffrey Fannin, and others. In their work they measure, or map the brain during several altered states, such as meditation and other mystical experiences. I was fascinated to see the effects on the brain of these events that I and millions of others have experienced for years — the science and the tools are cutting edge but the phenomena they are measuring are as old as mankind itself!

Seeing how a vision, or the feeling of unconditional love, or the sense of encountering another being in another dimension can alter the brain matches perfectly with my perceptions at the time. I always felt that I was a changed person, that my mind and body were fundamentally different after each event, and now I can see that it is true. The science is finally documenting what we who have experienced such events have always suspected: you are changed on every level.
