Tibetan Monks and Nuns Turn Their Minds Toward Science by Amy Yee

“Tibetan monks and nuns spend their lives studying the inner world of the mind rather than the physical world of matter. Yet for one month this spring a group of 91 monastics devoted themselves to the corporeal realm of science. .. Instead of delving into Buddhist texts on karma and emptiness, they learned about Galileo’s law of accelerated motion, chromosomes, neurons and the Big Bang, among other far-ranging topics.”

| by Judith Orloff, M.D.

All I knew was that crowded places and I just didn’t mix. I’d go there feeling just fine but leave nervous, depressed, or with some horrible new ache or pain. The Quantum Activist — Amit Goswami, PhD.: A film by Ri Stewart and Renee Slade

| by Cheryl Shainmark

Goswami guides us through his theories with humor and illustrative stories (math phobics will be reassured as there is no math at all) and leads us to the same conclusion that every great religion has been saying for centuries — that we are all connected.
