Check out Conscious TV – An Incredible Resource
One of the best aspects of my work here at Merlian News is introducing people to the news, food, products, cutting edge science, and leading minds that can help improve our lives and enhance our spiritual growth. Some of our readers dearly love the science we present, while others write in to say that they were most touched by the articles on spirituality or paranormal phenomena. This month I think I’ve found something for everybody in www.conscious.tv.
Liminal Moments by Cheryl Shainmark
Life is in the Transitions: Mastering Change at Any Age
In his new book, Life is in the Transitions: Mastering Change at Any Age, author Bruce Feiler notes that the idea that we’ll have one job, one relationship, one source of happiness for most of our lives is outdated, and that we now live in a non-linear world that ,forces us to make transitions. While this trend has been occurring for some time, what is new right now is that the whole world is going through these transitions at once. How we face these lif altering changes, and what tools we can use to help the process these events is at the core of this book.
Dr. Gruenewald writes, “In our ‘Abundant Life Meditation’ we encourage people to use two affirmative mantras that allow us to daily connect with the source of our inner ‘Abundant Life,’ which is our Higher Self, which can access all our developmental potential in free choice, embrace it with love and manifest it through visualisation and actions, creating new life circumstances.”
Are you familiar with Lion’s Mane Mushrooms? They have become the hot item for healthy eating. Vegetarians love them for their high protein content, while doctors and naturopaths go to them for their many healing qualities. Known by a variety of different names, such as bearded tooth mushroom, satyr’s beard, hedgehog mushroom, pom pom mushroom, or yamabushitake – the mushroom is often used as a meat substitute, since many say that they taste like shrimp or lobster when properly cooked.
