Someone whose work I have always admired is John Van Auken. Director of the Edgar Cayce Organization, the Association of Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach, VA, John Van Auken is also an author, lecture speaker, as well as a leading expert in mysticism, specifically Egyptian and Christian, and teacher of meditation.

I attended a workshop some years ago, and I was happily pleased with all the information he presented. I found Van Auken to be a charming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher, well versed, of course, in Edgar Cayce’s work which pertains to all of us. For example, Van Auken explained that Cayce had professed if there was a certain amount of good people in a centralized town or city, it would have a profound impact on the surrounding environment including the consciousness of others.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I came away with a pronounced sense of optimism — feeling as though I had absorbed by osmosis a lot of the intricacies of Cayce’s teachings. If you’re interested in Cayce material, John Van Auken is the teacher for you.
