Superbowl Champ Tom Brady Blasts Kellogg & Coke as “Poison” Foods

Pro-football star and Superbowl champion, Tom Brady, has been making waves recently, speaking up in favor of organic food and an holistic approach to health. But what’s getting all the attention is his blasting of what he terms “poison” products, including such big names as Kellogg and Coca-Cola. As noted by the Organic Consumers Association, “Brady may have just done more good for kids, and more damage to Big Food, than we could accomplish in months.”

Brady turned to holistic medicine in 2008, after he blew out his knee. The damage was so massive that it looked like a career ender for the athlete. He now is convinced that the only thing that saved his career were the holistic health strategies taught by his coach and business partner, Alex Guerrero. According to Brady:

“I had doctors with the highest and best education in our country tell me that I wouldn’t be able to play football again, that I would need multiple surgeries on my knee for my staph infection, that I would need a new ALC, a new MCL, and that I wouldn’t be able to play with my kids when I’m older.

Of course, I go back the next year and we win Comeback Player of the Year. I follow the next season and we win the MVP of the year… I’ve chosen a different approach, and that’s what I’m providing to other athletes.”

In a recent article on www.mercola.com we read: Brady’s comments, which made headlines in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, People magazine, and many other news outlets, come at a time when companies like Kellogg, Coca-Cola, and Pepsi are all struggling to prop up sagging sales.

This year, Coca-Cola reported a five percent drop in revenue for the third quarter, and over the past six months, Kellogg insiders have sold more than 60 percent of their shares in the company, signaling that Kellogg’s stock prices may soon go into freefall.

France and Russia Ban GMOs – US Media is Silent

France and Russia just banned GMOs, and the US media is silent. Why haven’t we heard about this in the main stream news? Could it be because the Senate is about to vote on a bill that would ban GMO labeling? Both France and Russia have banned GMOs in their countries, joining Germany , Scotland, Latvia, and Greece…. As reported a few days ago by Nick Meyers at www.march-against-monsanto.com : When two of the most modernized and economically powerful countries in the world decide to ban a type of food crop that has made its way into roughly 70-80% or more of the U.S. food supply, you’d think it would be considered newsworthy.
