Sound Healing with Mingtong Gu – Lesson Three: Spinal Bone Marrow Practice

The Spinal Bone Marrow Practice is deceptively simple and very powerful. We in the office started the third lesson of Master Mingtong Gu’s online Sound Healing course this last week feeling by turns, a little lethargic, a little run down, and generally feeling the effects of sitting at our desks too long. When we were done we felt rested, calmer, energized and centered.

Using simple repetitive movements and chanting, Master Gu has us connect with the healing energy around us and then visualize the energy moving through our spine from the top to the bottom and through our bodies in different ways. At times we felt completely sedate and peaceful. Other times we could feel sensations buzzing down from the top of our heads all the way down to the bottom of our spines. All of this occurred in just a short time, and through the simplest of exercises.

We all feel that we can’t wait to do this portion again and incorporate it into our daily routines! If you want to try any of this for yourself, go to www.chicenter.com . There are courses available for every level, from beginner through advanced teacher classes. Next time we go onto Lesson Four: Sound Energetics
