New Years Letter from Michael Brown: Completion, Transformation, Transition – Part 2

2007 is going to be a year in which it is recommended that we get out of bed each morning and immediately exclaim “Ayissh!” regardless of what is happening. The roller coaster that started moving down the slope at the beginning of 2006 has not only picked up momentum, but it is now entering the sharp turns, flipping us upside down, inside out, and any which way except “the expected”. More outer activity will unfold for us individually within 2007 than in the past six or seven years put together.

New Start, by Sahar Huneidi

| by Sahar Huneidi

How to manage the changes you might want to make to get the best possible start: “Each New Year brings a promise of better opportunities, and we find our selves inclined to make new resolutions to ‘fix’ what ever we did not the previous year. This year, I am would like to suggest that you ‘modify’ aspects you wish you change; rather than impose another resolution that you may not fulfil.”

New Years Letter from Michael Brown: Completion, Transformation, Transition- Part 1

Only actions driven by a dedication to accomplish authenticity, integrity, and intimacy will “appreciate” such a great opportunity as is gifted to us within this period of time. Words fail hopelessly when attempting to convey the profound gift of being in human form at this juncture of our individual and collective evolutionary experience.

When we accept this pattern of falling and catching ourselves, then we are in accord with the natural pattern of life’s ebb and flow. It is very freeing to let oneself go. There is abundant joy in being grounded and centered and in allowing ourselves to be vulnerable enough to fall and fall again, confident that we will find our equilibrium in the face of uncertainty.

***image1***” A lot has happened to these divas in ten months, but nothing has happened that was not their own idea. There were of course relationship challenges, having been chained in a line for two years, (while waiting to be placed at an “appropriate” facility), there was a lot to work out once they all came face to face… I remind myself every day who these elephants are, and how they used to live, and how long it took to win their release. I wish for each of them much of the boundless joy that dear Jenny found, each and every day at The Elephant Sanctuary.”
